If you are planning on making a booking as a first-time guest at The
Majestic Hotel, do go through this section. It will only take a moment and
while familiarizing yourself with our establishment, will ensure that your
stay is pleasant and comfortable.
1. Guests are requested to fill in all columns of the register in legible
block writing while checking in to and out of the Hotel. This is a legal
requirement and we request you to cooperate with us to avoid any
inconvenience later.
2. Circumstances sometimes require our Guests to advance a part payment
proportionate to the duration of their stay, while checking in; while we
regret any inconvenience this might cause, we assure our Guests that in no
way is this a reflection on their standing or credit-worthiness
3. The law prohibits gambling and entertaining women of dubious character in
public places and hotels. Guests will no doubt understand the sensitive
nature of the Management's request to avoid any embarrassment in this regard
4. Although our staff go through stringent antecedent checks prior to
employment, we request our Guests to secure their valuables and personal
effects. Guests will appreciate that the Management cannot assume responsibility in the unlikely event of their loss. Guests may, however,
deposit their cash or valuables with the manager for safekeeping, if they so
desire and obtain a proper receipt for their custody.
4. Hotels are under constant vigil by law enforcement agencies. We are quite
sure that our Guests hardly need a reminder to refrain from bringing any
articles the possession of which is illegal or in contravention of Excise
and Customs rules.
5. Although we sympathize with Guests suffering from any infectious disease,
we urge them to notify the management of the condition. This is as much for
the afflicted person's own well-being as for that of other guests.
6. The Management does not enforce a 'No Smoking' rule on our premises
simply because we know our guests are, both, conscious to the harmful
effects of passive smoking, and the fire hazard posed by irresponsible
disposal of unextinguished matches and cigarette butts.
7. It is our endeavour to retain a degree of exclusivity at The Majestic
Hotel. In these interests, the Management reserves the right of entry to the
premises and to evict any undesirable entity without assigning any reason
whatsoever.
8. To ensure that our Guests are served only fresh meals and beverages, we
have set a timing for their service. We request Guests to refer to the menu
for the schedule and seek their cooperation in helping us adhere to our
